FEATURE GOD’S RENEWING

            POWER

I SIMMONS TO REACH THE FATHERLESS AND ABANDONED.
N 1965, GOD IGNITED A PASSION IN THE HEART OF DICK

Because many people in prison struggle with these issues, Dick’s passion is
directed toward restorative justice ministry. He has maintained the conviction,
“We’ve got to get to the prisoner before he’s released and help him build some
positive attitudes. I’m convinced that this can only be done on a man-to-man basis,

control, leading him to a long prison sentence before age 21.

“I knew I wasn’t going to make it on my own. I felt my new environment
and situation were more than I could handle. I was alone; a stranger in a
      strange land, completely overwhelmed.”

Having hit rock bottom, Robert realized it was impossible to mend his shat-
