RESTORATIVE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
to give up on himself, God never abandoned him. Instead of lashing out at
God, Robert sought Him out through Scripture. A Bible verse his father taught
him as a child, one he thought was long forgotten, surfaced in his mind. That
verse was John 3:16. As he continued reading, God started revealing Himself
through Scripture and people He placed in Robert’s life to build him up.
"WE DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT OURSELVES
... THE CHANGES WILL FOLLOW WHEN WE COME TO HIM FIRST
THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. THE LORD BE MAGNIFIED!” —ROBERT
Bill Worrall is one of those people. Bill volunteers through M2/W2 at the
prison where he met Robert. He became part of Robert’s journey many years
ago by challenging, encouraging, and ministering to him. Robert acknowl-
edges, “Throughout the years, God kept me moving forward and placed family
and friends to come alongside me, who never gave up
on me.”
He recounts, “Day by day, as I learned more and
more, I could no longer ignore the reality of God
and His Son Jesus. Because of my sin, I became
aware of my desperate need for Jesus and His
peace. Through Bible study, I noticed in John 6:12
that Jesus, after multiplying fi ve loaves of bread
and two small fi sh to feed thousands of people,
became adamant that no leftover food was wasted.
Jesus, the Creator of all, cared enough about some
leftovers to ensure it went to good use! With the hope
of making good use of the ‘leftover’ fragments of my life, Above: Bill Worrall
I invited Jesus into my heart and gave myself fully to Him.”
