For thousands of years, believers have stewed over various “roles” women might occupy in the home, in our world and in the work of the church. Theological positions swing along a continuum with “women can occupy only certain roles” on one end to “women can occupy any role” on the other end. What might we learn about the roles women might occupy from looking at how Jesus included them in His work?
